General Information

Thank you for your interest in the Massachusetts General Hospital Child Neurology Residency Training Program. Our application season opens on September 15 each year. We accept applications submitted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). A link to the ERAS system can be found on the NRMP website:

In the 2021 match, we are seeking 3 applicants. Two for our traditional categorical track and one for our innovative terminal neuroscience research year track. For more information on these tracks and logistics of applying, please see specific track information.

Our program accepts applications from US Allopathic and Osteopathic Medical Schools, Canadian Medical Schools and International Medical Schools. Please click on International Graduates for more information on specific requirements for international applicants.

We begin contacting applicants selected to interview with us in late October after we have reviewed the MSPE. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their applications by October 21. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all interview and recruitment activities this year will be virtual.
